I then posted the same question there, and was referred here. Outlook 2016 for Mac community, and was referred to the Is there any way to make Outlook 2016 for Mac use the new photo (without creating a new profile)? The only workaround I've found is to create a new Outlook profile, but this has the undesirable consequence of losing information stored in the old profile, something my users are understandably reluctant to let me do. (I mention this only because Lync and Outlook presumably pull the photo from the same place.) That's true even for messages that were sent many days after the photo was sent.įWIW, we also have a Lync 2013 server, with both Mac and Windows users connecting, and they all see the new photo. Ironically, the sender himself, when he checks his Sent messages, sees the old photo. When we update a user's photo in AD, almost everyone sees the new photo. Server: Active Directory domain, Exchange 2010Ĭlients: Windows PCs with Outlook 2013, Macs with Outlook 2016.
